RCC Womens Group

A regular ride series for women cyclists

RCC Women's Group

Schedule Alert

The first RCC Women's Ride has been cancelled. Please check back in April for schedule updates.

We welcome all self-identifying women to join us on our rides that vary from social to challenging while riding in a positive, encouraging, empowering environment with other like-minded female cyclists.

The RCC Womens Group is led by Juli Zalud, an experienced ride leader and RAMROD veteran. Juli has a particular passion for creating supportive and fun riding groups for experienced and not-so-experienced women cyclists. The rides created and led by Juli and the RCC Womens Group will help you extend your cycling fitness and comfort with riding on routes from 30 miles in the beginning of the year and steadily up to 75+ miles. These rides will also help you prepare for most of RCC's other rides and events and will get you excited for even bigger challenges in the future like Mazama and RAMROD! Come ride with Juli!

While we intend to ride as a group, there are no sweeps. Review the Pace and Ride Goal for each ride, as it will differ. For the well-being of the entire group, if you are unable to maintain the pace, or are significantly slower when climbing hills, you should be prepared to ride independently. We stress safe and cooperative riding.

Weather – The decision to ride or cancel will be made from the starting location. The ride leader will always be at the start of the ride. If the ride is officially canceled, the route will still be available for those hearty souls that wish to train in any condition. Also, routes may be altered or shortened due to weather conditions.

The routes will be available on RidewithGPS.com before each ride.

NOTE: We will not provide Cue Sheets at the start of the ride. You can print one using the RidewithGPS link associated with the ride.
