We’re excited to share the 2019 Redmond Cycling Club Ride Calendar with you! Come on out in February to kick off our ride season on the Frosty Thirty (Feb 24th). In March, enjoy the classic routes of the Bakery Ride (Mar 9th) and Rollercoaster (Mar 24th). Last year saw the debut of a new spring ride that celebrates Europe's spring classics in our own Issaquah Alps: Boze Varkens (Mar 31st). In April, we tour north of Snohomish on Soggy Paw (Apr 28th) and the three-day Hood River Tour returns to explore Columbia Gorge riding (May 17-20th).
On June 1st, our team-oriented cycling event Course d'Equipe returns and this year challenges riders with The Capital City route: a unique riding experience starting and ending at our state's capital. (Jun 1st). One week later, you can explore the back roads to Index on Steve's Index Ride (Jun 9th).
We're excited that the 2-day North Cascades classic Mazama is back and celebrating its 35th year! (Jun 29-30). One of the most beautiful and challenging rides in the Northwest, Mazama is a supported ride for 45 riders going up and over Washington Pass and back the next day.
We wrap up the year with the classic: RAMROD (Jul 25). You can begion your preparation for RAMROD with any of the RCC rides and in particular, you can get serious miles and elevation in on the fabulous RAMROD Training Series (Apr - Jul) and grueling The Edge ride (Jun 29). If RAMROD isn't in your future this year, you and your friends are welcome to participate on any or all of the RAMROD Training Series rides. Each ride is a great day by itself and the series will help you prepare for any goal on your 2019 ride calendar.
